      It is good hard and durable. Amazing quality just be careful screwing the things in so do it slow and by hand.

      I love, love, love this desk. A friend assembled it for me. Was a simple assembly if you put it together as it comes. I had him drill holes in the metal frame to change the keyboard to the side so I could put my filing cabinet on the other side. It came with extra screws, so that was wonderful. It's very stable, attractive, and light weight.

      Honestly, the desk is a lot better than I expected. I put it together myself in about an hour, just the right size for what I needed.

      This desk so far is sturdy enough for what I need. I have two monitors on it. I can type vigorously without it moving. The keyboard tray is a good height. I suggest buying a pad to go underneath the keyboard to keep it from sliding around and provide a smooth surface to drive the mouse on. The surface of the desk is slightly higher grained in some places making a mouse drive erratically. I bought an inexpensive gaming pad and cut it down to size.
