The handle bars are height adjustable for different size riders. We have rode it in our neighborhood and taken it on paths. It's great for shot distance commutes or site seeing.

I live in an area where parking cost at work is outrageous. I bought this scooter so I could commute to work through the French Quarter in New Orleans. It has exceeded expectations! I am near the top of the weight range and I do not notice any decrease in performance. I got it up to 20 mph and then backed off because I was nervous! It it easy to operate and it feels stable and sturdy. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for one of these! And the price for the quality of the product can’t be beat!

I never ride a scooter in my life, so i thought i was gonna fall, yet as soon as i hop in, its like i had experience with it. Pros : weight for having dual motors and size. Price its just right for what u get.Brake light, side lights, head lights r bright. Deck holds u in place. Battery life last. Fast, im 182lb and im able to do 39mph. good acceleration and the fact that u can ride using one motor only and still has enough power. Easy to assembly out of the box. Hydraulic suspension gives u comfort and u r not bouncing up and down unlike a spring suspension. Nice tires even good on grass and dirt. Throttle is controlled with ur thumb, so u can have ur hand on handle and quick access for brakes. Large hud Cons : no key, u need a password but mine buttons r different than what i see online. Headlight style isnt my favorite. Handle grips could be better for comfort. (make sure u get gloves). no turn signals. buttons for gears and dual or single motor mode could be bigger and labeled better. No electric horn. Brakes could be better at higher speed. While u doing 30mph or higher. Wables a bit while braking at higher speed like 35mph or higher. (make sure u lean with ur weight going back). Kick stand is a bit short. Battery charging time between 10 and 11 hrs. Not the greatest looking e scooter out there. Conclusion this is great e scooter for those that want speed, commute long distance, some fun. also portability and not as heavy as others on its class

I've waited over 3 months to write this this review to make sure it's accurate.This scooter goes as fast and faster than advertised. That's a plus because most scooters and ebike don't.It is made with quality parts that work great, I've had no issues. I changed the tires for off road ones for the winter and I've put new brake pads in. The parts are easy to get online and easy to swap out. It's well engineered. It's powerful, quick and looks sharp. It's the fastest scooter in its weight class , that I've found anyway. I give It 5 stars.

So the scooter is made well. It does get up to 31mph depending on the type of road your driving on and your overall weight, mine (170-180lbs). The brakes work well too. My only problem with the scooter is that it doesn't get 34 miles on a full charge which was one of the factors in purchasing the scooter. I'm able to get at most 14.5 miles on a full charge and I'm mostly in 3rd gear and Dual Drive. I think its best that when these scooters are sold that the specifications should be accurate in terms of actual mileage instead of "depending on certain factors". The only way I could see you maybe getting to that 34 miles number is probably being in 1st gear only as it uses less juice. Anyway hope this review helps in making a decision to purchase.Update 12/6So this is the furthest I've gone in one trip. This was in 2nd Gear only and Dual Drive. Prob get another 2-3 miles out of it on top of what the display shows.

This scooter is amazing, you can pop wheelies on it, and it usually sits at around 28 miles an hour, but on some roads, it has go 31, suspension is great, brakes are amazing, upgrading to the S 10 because I had so much fun with the S5. The S5 has about 15 miles range, it’ll get you to where you’re going, but not much after, I would recommend for only $300 more getting the S 10.

Please wear a helmet for third gear!🙏🏼I ended up getting a second one after two failed tubes and all of a sudden the scooter wanted to start in third gear when it read first gear. 😂 That was dangerous.The manual yes is ridiculous. You tube is your friend.Also one of the two scooters was extremely hard to fold down and about knocked myself out.Customer service 🦗🦗🦗 Amazon had my back. 🙌🏼I do about 12 miles daily pretty consistently. I take my charger with me.Overall it really is a zippy, fun, stable ride! Have fun be safe!😍

I would suggest extra power bank like emergency extra range to get you at least 25 mile gear 2 adapter.Light: could be better probably a flood light led with a light strobe flash to alter drivers.Horn / bell : 3/10 need something louder ( alert drivers/ ppl with headphones) .Handle bars : would recommend folding it in half . I would recommend this for a lot of computers! Love this !! I would get another one for sure with the seat .

Battery life is good and if you run in ECO mode you will get around 23 to 26 miles of range. My weight is 193lbs. Great lights too.

I race dirtbikes, so much fun can an Electric Scooter be?! Loads of fun! Pro tip, make sure you understand how to engage the front wheel drive. It's very simple, but you won't get the full experience until you do, but maybe practice for a while in just rear wheel drive, until you engage two wheel drive. I'm a big guy, 6'-2", 250lbs, this things rip, even with me on it!

Bottom line - I could not find a better scooter at this price point, and my daughter will be using this to commute daily 8 miles roundtrip to college. We have already put 100 miles on it.Negatives:Please be aware that unlike more expensive offroad scooters, there is NO shocks/springs or real suspension. The only thing it has is a solid rubber cylinder (where the orange arms attach) which does allow some limited flex to the front and rear when you impact something. I weigh 200 lbs, and it only sags very slightly when I stand on it. For my 110 lb daughter, it doesn't sag at all. The fundamental problem is there is NO adjustment, and even at 200 lbs, it is too stiff.The front steering mount is not rock solid and allows for significant flex front and back with the handlebar if you brake hard or pull back on it.The listing for this scooter is full of errors and inflated claims. The best I can achieve is 26 mph with the scooter on level ground. The brakes are cable, NOT hydraulic (you have to get the S10 to get hydraulic brakes).Positives:We previously had a Hiboy which only had rear suspension and smaller solid tires. The scooter is significantly better on rough pavement and bumps better due to its fairly large air filled tires and the little flex that you do get when you hit something. I will not go back to a smaller or solid tire design.The latching mechanism for folding is a strong design.The brakes are effectiveThe different levels of acceleration (1-3) allow a beginner to get used to it without fear.Overall, it is a much better scooter than the Hiboy S2, and a nice upgrade. To get better than the S5, you will have to jump to the $1000 price point. At $699 I would buy again.

So far I have had this for little over 2-3 weeks and I am in love with it. It takes some getting used to for sure but as you get the hang of it it starts to feel like nothing. At high speeds, this can be dangerous but that is to expected you have to be aware of your surroundings and everything near you. The brakes are amazing and so is the mileage and battery life. Overall, this was worth it so far and I will post an update in the near future.

I use my scooter every other day for small errands around town. So far 20 miles on the odometer, It was a great purchase in my opinion with a great costumer service. Great battery I don't use it if it's 50% depleted, but I get my errands done. The track to unfold it tho is to brake the wheels add weight to the back and extend the handlebar untill it looks. Great little scooter.

I started off with a Segway nine bot. It just wasn’t fast enough and had no suspension. I literally drive the scooter almost every day it has dual motors and it will go close to 40 miles an hour without a problem I’ve had no issues with the scooter. I recently upgraded the tires and put new brakes on because of normal wear and tear. Well actually I’m pretty hard on this scooter lol but I have not had any problems except for the wear and tear on tires and brakes. I upgraded the tires with more of an all-terrain tire with thicker tubes as well and the brakes are really cheap. I’ve already put it over 600 miles on the scooter no problems with the battery the motors everything is solid. thinking about buying another one since they were down in price. That way my girlfriend can go with me on rides.

I like the build of the scooter overall great quality. EXCELLENT power. I cant find a hill I cant get up. Even the steepest ones I get up without to much of a drop in speed. I hit 30-35mph very easy most of the time I've hit 37 many occasions. I weight 200lbs to. I'd buy a 2nd one of these. I commute by train it took about a week for my muscles to get used to carrying it single hand up and down many flights of stairs at the stations I go to. Remember it weighs 59.5lbs I believe. The only things I don't like is the plastic rear splash guard was snagged on a train seat and snapped from where the screws go in and could not be rigged back on easily. So I go without a splash guard now. I use my foot if needed. Make sure you have the special slotted wrench if you get a flat tire. You need that to remove the tire due to the wire going in thru the axel. The scooter should have come with this wrench. I had to wait quite a while for it to come and i was scooter-less.

Solid scooter. Especially if you can get it for a decent price. Battery won't last long on the third gear but that's to be expected for a mid priced scooter like this. Can get about 35-40 miles on first gear which tops out at 11 mph, 2nd gear probably 20 miles which tops out at 18mph, and third gear 20 miles or less which can hit 25-27mph. So it has options for those that want to commute or if you just want to blaze through the backroads in your suburbs or town. Takes 6-7 hours to charge. Suspension feels good and the entire thing looks professional. Only minor complaint would be the lock/unlock mechanism to fold is insanely hard to unlock, I am what I consider a strong person and I am looking up videos on how to loosen it because it is insanely impossible. Tighten your screws and check your tire pressure weekly if you're using it regularly.

I have had my Joyor S5 Electric Scooter now for over a year and I am still so impressed with the quality and build. I bought my wife a smaller and cheaper scooter so we can ride together, but I find hers to be so flimsy and honestly a bit unsafe compared to the JOYOR. This scooter is solid! I love the huge wheels and shock absorption, it gives it a very stable ride and I think is what sets it apart from other scooters. Breaking is also very smooth compared to the cheaper scooter. I mostly ride it on the street and often forget its capable of off road. Riding on the grass is super fun too. Small pot hole? Pshh no problem!When I first opened it, it seemed large and kind of intimidating. Bigger than I expected and I wondered if it was more serious than I was prepared for. But after riding it, I realized it just felt effortless. Now there is no way I'm ever getting rid of this thing. ITS THE BEST.The controls for 3 variable speeds are easy to reach and to press while riding. Breaks are on both sides of the handles which for safety reasons I think is very important. The light is bright and very useful if riding at night.The speed, mileage, and battery life are all great. I didn't personally buy it for commuting but just causal use. 3rd gear gets you to the top speed but for me, gear 1 and 2 are great just to ride around the neighborhood.Only notes I have, is that I wish I could lock it or require a code/ bluetooth security or something to start so I feel a little more secure parking it or leaving it out in public.It is on the large side, and slightly hard to fold and unfold. But it fits in the back of my model 3 with the seat down even without folding it. Folding it might just take some getting use to, I rarely try. I find its weight and size to play a role in its stability. Not an issue for me.I had one issue after riding over some bumps that must have caused some wiring connecting the power source to come loose. At first I thought I was out of battery and would be walking home, but after making sure the wires were plugged in tightly I realized what happened/ a simple fix and probably a one time thing. Anyway I was back on the move and made it home quickly.Every friend I show this scooter to loves it, and we're all surprised its not over $1000 for how well it performs. Worth every penny.

First off the positives, this scooter is amazing. Power enough for a 200 lbs man to take to the trails. Easily able to put 20 miles on before having to recharge. I even convinced my group of friends to join in.Now the downside. There were no instructions with package, which would be nice when there is a loose screw floating around the box. And despite looking everywhere online only trial and error helped me learn how the scooter works. Some basic resources would easily make the whole experience better.Scooter: 5/5Resources: 2/5

I must say this is the 3rd scooter that I purchased and I had it for a couple of months now and I love every moment with it. It’s powerful it’s flexible it’s not too heavy so you can just easily fold it and put it in the back your trunk in my case I got a truck we took it out to the lake and rode it for over an hour. overall I love it. I actually bought another one for my daughter, so we can ride it together Definitely will recommend this scooter. This is one of the good ones I promise you that.

The Good: It seems well-made and high quality. The setup was easy. I live in a hilly area and it get's me up some pretty big hills with a speed of about 10mph. Top speed for me on a flat road with fully charged battery was 23mph. Range seem to be what one would expect, I'm take it up a lot of big hills so mine is understandably less than advertised. The lighting is very good, I appreciate the side lights and blinking brake lights. The shocks and pneumatic tires make for a very smooth ride. It has a nice and wide platform and the handlebars telescope out to a very comfortable height for a tall person (I'm 6'2). The design is also very pleasing to me. Quite industrial and rugged looking.Things that could be better: The manual is very poorly written and essentially worthless, I had to youtube owner review videos to understand and set up the scooter parameters on it's screen. The scooter was very slow at first until I learned that the European governor had not be turned off--Joyor tech support got back to me fairly quickly with a youtube video on how to do this but I was pretty disappointed at first with the speed. The battery takes the advertised time to charge all the way up. The screen I got is the new version compared to many I see in the youtube videos. Some functionalities on the screen are present that are not present on the scooter because this same screen is used for multiple models, this was confusing given that the operators manual is very poorly written.Several other reviewers commented on the folding mechanism being hard to operate, it wasn't an issue for me, but I'm also fairly strong. Overall I've been happy with the scooter itself, my biggest complaint is with the manual and screen being frustrating to learn.

I'm reviewing the S10S dual motor version. This is a very high performance scooter. With single motor mode the top speed is 37mph, in dual motor mode I've had it up to 44 mph. The wheels free spin up to 54 mph. I weight 150 lbs. Cornering is great , the suspension works well. It is not a perfect scooter. Waterproofing is nonexistent, I've added some clear silicone in places to help out . Folding/unfolding the scooter is decently easy. The handle bar rises high enough for me , I'm 6' tall. The rear fender did break off at the support arm on my first jump off of a curb. The support arm was plastic, Joyor sent me a metal replacement arm and it has been fine ever since. I was also missing a screw out of the gooseneck, I found a replacement but Joyor also sent me extra screws.

S5 Great scooter I’ve putting it through hell lol. I ride pretty aggressively and It’s been holding up so far no complaints on quality especially for the price. I like the black and orange colors also really sleek and pops, I get compliments on it everywhere I go. This scooter has great acceleration and torch which I like. It surprised me when I saw it in person it’s a lot bigger than I thought which is a plus when going over 30 miles an hour. Great for commuting to work! Portability is good fits pretty easily in trunk.Pros: good price, speed, quality, portable, easy and quick assembly, light weight, great grips, sturdy stem no flexing, cushy suspensionCons: Short battery life, but also depending on how you ride. Brakes need to be tightened starts squeaking but easy fix. Takes a while to charge. Needs more tread on tires, on sharp turns doesn’t grip. Longer and wider deck I’m 6’0 feet.

if you're looking for a daily commuter for work after taking the subway this is your best bet. It has an amazing suspension system that goes over almost all inclines and potholes with ease. The breaks stop on a dime so be aware of that. The lever that keeps it engaged in the upright position is a bit tight at first but with use gets easier to fold and unfold over time. the charge is good for about three days on second gear, less time if you're running it at top speed. With all that said it is a dependable scooter for my commute to work and it saves me a ton on parking. Definitely would recommend it for any intermediate to advanced electric scooter riders!

For the price, it’s really not that bad. However, I should definitely stress this point to all buyers…”Do NOT ride it in the rain!!” It is not water proof. However, it doesn’t take that much to water proof it if you know what you’re doing. There are a good amount of “how to” videos on YouTube to show you how to do a lot of stuff to this model…including unlocking the speed. Yea, got your attention didn’t I. I will burst your bubble a bit though..although you will be able to increase the scooter speed, it doesn’t necessarily means that you will be able to get to enjoy the top speed…well unless you’re a little person or a baby. The speed you can max out depends on your weight. The closer you get to the max weight capacity of the scooter, the slower you will go. It’s really not a bad scooter if you are willing to put in a little work to beef it up. As the scooter market is quickly gaining speed, there are a lot more selection of really nice scooters to chose from. Just do a little research and you’ll find what you’re looking for. A lil tip, don’t expect too much if you are going to be cheap about your investment. You will definitely get what you pay for in the scooter market. I would recommend this item if you are willing to put a little work into it. If not, I would suggest looking around a bit more. Good luck.

I just received this scooter 2 days ago. I'll update this review if anything changes. This is for the S-10 dual drive scooter.The scooter arrived on time (4 days) and the packaging was in perfect condition, no damage. It comes almost completely assembled. You only need to attach the handle bars with 3 screws and tighten a few others after you position the screen at the angle you want it. It comes with a folding Allen key/hex key tool that fits all of the screws on the bike. I went over every screw on the scooter and nothing was loose or needed addressing.The scooter is big! Its very well built and nothing about it makes me worry about my teenagers riding it or myself at 235lbs. I'm 6'5" and the handle bars adjust up to a comfortable height. If I had to point out anything that seems like it could have been built better, it would be the rear fender. It's plastic and held on by a few screws on one side. It would likely break if someone were to step on it or it was impacted by something. Otherwise, it's fine and serves its purpose.The battery was mostly charged and topped off in about an hour. My son rode it around the neighborhood for about 45 minutes, testing all the speeds and drive modes. He got comfortable and really ripped around. He covered 11 miles total without issue and the battery indicator dropped 1 notch (1 out of 5). This is not a definitive test of the battery/distance, but I was happy to see that even with spirited driving, the battery still seems to have most of its life left after 11 miles. We're not using this as a commuter. Its just a toy for our family, transportation around the lake, or a quick ride to the corner store and we'll likely never completely drain the battery. I believe there are other reviews that test the total distance/battery capacity.Acceleration is strong! Even with me riding at 235lbs. I didn't top out the machine, but it accelerated smoothly and quickly to 30mph. My son is 135lbs and, of course, it accelerated even faster with him riding and he passed 30mph quickly. I have no doubt this machine will go the advertised top speed of 37mph( or faster), but I likely won't ever need or want to go that fast. My only gripe with the drive is while cruising at a steady speed and giving it a very small amount of throttle to lightly accelerate, there is sometimes a little jerkiness to it as power engages. Its noticeable but not dangerous. It may just be normal and the nature of an electric drive scooter.The suspension is fantastic. The scooter takes inconsistencies in the road, rounded curbs, rocks, sticks, etc. with ease with both lighter riders (135lbs) and heavier riders (235lbs). We have a much cheaper scooter with the same 10" inner tube wheels and and a coil spring dual suspension and the S10 is 100x better and feels much safer when running over small obstacles.Likewise, the brakes perform great with heavier and lighter riders. Very smooth and responsive with the hydraulic system. Braking is very progressive and controllable. Also much better than the cheaper scooter we have which is at the $400 price point.My initial impressions are fantastic. It definitely earned 5 stars at this price point ($999). The rear fender could have been built better. It seems like a weak point. The safety latch on the locking mechanism to fold the machine also appears weak and many reviewers who fold their machines regularly report a failure. It is plastic as well. But both work fine so far for me. The question of whether or not its water resistant could be concerning for some. I drove through some water run off on the street and it was fine, but I don't intend to take it out in the rain or run it through large puddles either. I'm not disappointed with the few discrepancies though, because for a 60v, dual 1000watt drive scooter with hydraulic brakes and a fantastic torsion suspension, this price point is almost too good to be true.Note: Almost all of the bad reviews for this scooter on Amazon in this listing are for the S5 single drive version.

Shock absorbers are a bit hard for my weight(160lbs), and will need to loosen them up a bit, but nothing wrong with t he scooter as such. I would suggest getting this if you are on the edge. It definitely has made my commutes really fun.

I bought this scooter because I wanted easy and quick travel without having to rely on a vehicle. The scooter is pretty fast and is stable on the road, even being able to handle some offroad. It can also maintain its speed at slight inclines, but of course slows down the higher you go.The only thing I disliked was how hard it was to read the assembly instructions, but they're not that complicated to piece together if you have bicycle experience. Great purchase overall.

This scooter is amazing. Has a super fast acceleration and an incredibly smooth ride. Holds a good battery charge. I use it mainly for zipping back and forth to my mother in laws house about a mile down the road. We have a very steep driveway, and as long as a I get a running start I can make it up no problem. I would highly recommend this scooter to anyone who is of average size and build. I'm 5'1" and it's great, my husband is 6'3" 250lbs and can use it comfortably, but said he would get something with a little more bulk if he buys himself one. I've had zero issues with mine and love it!

The full power this produces is more than enough. It handles trails and light mountain bike trails with eas. I often ride it hard and put it away wet. I put it in my back seat of my Corolla and go all over with it. I really like this thing. 700 miles so far

I'm reviewing the S10S dual motor version. This is a very high performance scooter. With single motor mode the top speed is 37mph, in dual motor mode I've had it up to 44 mph. The wheels free spin up to 54 mph. I weight 150 lbs. Cornering is great , the suspension works well. It is not a perfect scooter. Waterproofing is nonexistent, I've added some clear silicone in places to help out . Folding/unfolding the scooter is decently easy. The handle bar rises high enough for me , I'm 6' tall. The rear fender did break off at the support arm on my first jump off of a curb. The support arm was plastic,support sent me a metal replacement arm and it has been fine ever since. I was also missing a screw out of the gooseneck, I found a replacement but Joyor also sent me extra screws.

So the scooter is made well. It does get up to 31mph depending on the type of road your driving on and your overall weight, mine (170-180lbs). The brakes work well too. My only problem with the scooter is that it doesn't get 34 miles on a full charge which was one of the factors in purchasing the scooter. I'm able to get at most 14.5 miles on a full charge and I'm mostly in 3rd gear and Dual Drive. I think its best that when these scooters are sold that the specifications should be accurate in terms of actual mileage instead of "depending on certain factors". The only way I could see you maybe getting to that 34 miles number is probably being in 1st gear only as it uses less juice. Anyway hope this review helps in making a decision to purchase.Update 12/6So this is the furthest I've gone in one trip. This was in 2nd Gear only and Dual Drive. Prob get another 2-3 miles out of it on top of what the display shows.

I bought this scooter because it has the latest iteration for a front shock, and I must say it glides over nearly everything. Your arms won’t go numb from riding on bumpy sidewalks. Folds up nicely, but it’s a bit difficult setting it back up until you learn the trick. And this is a good thing, it’s not gonna fold up while you’re riding, that’s for sure. The 2nd pic is a close up of the solid mechanism and the creative yet simple safety where the arm hooks. Great fun, quick and nimble. I’m gonna get the dual motor next!!

To be honest, I didn't expect this scooter to be nearly as substantial as it is. I mean, it is a well-built machine. Never had I seen an electric scooter with gears, it has there if them, and neither did I expect it would be as powerful. It has a nice wide footboard, and the handle bars are easily adjusted. My only complaint is that the instructions were practically non existent. Fortunately, between my friend and myself we didn't have much trouble figuring it out. There really isn't much to do to it other than attaching the handle bars. At first, we went angle to get it to lick in the upright position. Finally, I got on my knees and had the front tire between my legs, and then pulled the starting section toward me. This scooter isn't quite as portable as I expected. I can lift it ok, about 50 pounds, but I'm not going to be carrying it with me everywhere I go. I'm retired, but I took a part-time job on the weekends, and I had planned on taking it with me on the train when I go to work, but it's a little too heavy to be carrying it on and off the train like that. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This is an awesome scooter. I have had it for about 5 months now and wanted to make sure I had enough time to use it before leaving an honest review.This thing is super fast. Also, it has settings you can change to limit the speed. When my older child rides it, he goes full speed and then when my younger child wants to ride I change the settings to make it slower for safety.The quality is very high as well. My kids ride it very roughly and we haven't had any problems with anything breaking.I like it also, because before I bought it, the kids wanted to stay inside all day and watch television and play video games. Since I bought this scooter, they ride around the neighborhood and visit friends and end up playing outside for hours at a time. This is the only gift I've ever got them that actually gets them out of the house consistently. Most gifts I buy them, they play with for one or two days and then forget about it. But this scooter they use every single day.And the battery lasts a long time. They can ride a long time before needing a charge. Most of the time it lasts the entire day and then we charge it over night.I love this thing. I researched other brands, and this was the best one I found for the price and for how good it is. I was nervous at first because I didn't know anything about electric scooters, but I am 100% pleased with this purchase.My kids have had this for over 5 months and have ridden it for several hours per day, every day, and have had no problems at all. I even spend a lot of time using it myself and it's great.

While browsing for a scooter to commute to work I made sure to look for one thing main thing "Speed."The rental scooters are capped at a certain limit here in SF so I wanted a scooter that goes much faster than them and this one certainly does.You'd think that your biggest worry on the road are the cars but its actually pedestrians as they walk when and where they want. Speed bumps are a big obstacle too, problem is you can't just break safely when going fast (25mph +) like when you're on a bicycle, even though the breaks are very good on this scooter.I get about 20 MPH on Gear two and it goes to 25MPH on Gear 3 then slowly climbs from there (I weigh 180 lbs). When going faster than 25MPH and your eyes will start to water and you realize falling at this speed would not be fun. You get more used to handling faster speeds the more you ride.You will easily smoke bicycle riders and rental scooter goers as they are now officially beneath you.This scooter is more of a mid level scooter, it's not as good as the more expensive ones going for $1500 and up but It's perfect for commuting and its top speed is really not an issue as you won't be going that fast all the time unless the road is smooth.I ride about 3 miles to work so the Battery length has not been tested, I can probably go there and back 3 days without charging.This scooter is out of China so I was worried the quality would not be as good as the other American brands, however it's a solid scooter and a much better bang for your buck. When you ride it will feel a little like you get a piece of your childhood back. Highly Recommended.Lifting up the scooter handle the first time was a real pain, they should make that more user friendly, but once open it's good to go, Instructions are fine too. Someone on here said they weren't so that's not true.In Conclusion Great purchase, much better than those other scooters on here that only go 20mph top speed.

The Good: It seems well-made and high quality. The setup was easy. I live in a hilly area and it get's me up some pretty big hills with a speed of about 10mph. Top speed for me on a flat road with fully charged battery was 23mph. Range seem to be what one would expect, I'm take it up a lot of big hills so mine is understandably less than advertised. The lighting is very good, I appreciate the side lights and blinking brake lights. The shocks and pneumatic tires make for a very smooth ride. It has a nice and wide platform and the handlebars telescope out to a very comfortable height for a tall person (I'm 6'2). The design is also very pleasing to me. Quite industrial and rugged looking.Things that could be better: The manual is very poorly written and essentially worthless, I had to youtube owner review videos to understand and set up the scooter parameters on it's screen. The scooter was very slow at first until I learned that the European governor had not be turned off-- tech support got back to me fairly quickly with a youtube video on how to do this but I was pretty disappointed at first with the speed. The battery takes the advertised time to charge all the way up. The screen I got is the new version compared to many I see in the youtube videos. Some functionalities on the screen are present that are not present on the scooter because this same screen is used for multiple models, this was confusing given that the operators manual is very poorly written.Several other reviewers commented on the folding mechanism being hard to operate, it wasn't an issue for me, but I'm also fairly strong. Overall I've been happy with the scooter itself, my biggest complaint is with the manual and screen being frustrating to learn.

For the price, it’s really not that bad. However, I should definitely stress this point to all buyers…”Do NOT ride it in the rain!!” It is not water proof. However, it doesn’t take that much to water proof it if you know what you’re doing. There are a good amount of “how to” videos on YouTube to show you how to do a lot of stuff to this model…including unlocking the speed. Yea, got your attention didn’t I. I will burst your bubble a bit though..although you will be able to increase the scooter speed, it doesn’t necessarily means that you will be able to get to enjoy the top speed…well unless you’re a little person or a baby. The speed you can max out depends on your weight. The closer you get to the max weight capacity of the scooter, the slower you will go. It’s really not a bad scooter if you are willing to put in a little work to beef it up. As the scooter market is quickly gaining speed, there are a lot more selection of really nice scooters to chose from. Just do a little research and you’ll find what you’re looking for. A lil tip, don’t expect too much if you are going to be cheap about your investment. You will definitely get what you pay for in the scooter market. I would recommend this item if you are willing to put a little work into it. If not, I would suggest looking around a bit more. Good luck.

I even convinced my group of friends to join in.Now the downside. There were no instructions with package, which would be nice when there is a loose screw floating around the box. I like the black and orange colors also really sleek and pops, I get compliments on it everywhere I go. This scooter has great acceleration and torch which I like. It surprised me when I saw it in person it’s a lot bigger than I thought which is a plus when going over 30 miles an hour. Great for commuting to work! Portability is good fits pretty easily in trunk.Pros: good price, speed, quality, portable, easy and quick assembly, light weight, great grips, sturdy stem no flexing, cushy suspensionCons: Short battery life, but also depending on how you ride. Brakes need to be tightened starts squeaking but easy fix. Takes a while to charge. Needs more tread on tires, on sharp turns doesn’t grip. Longer and wider deck I’m 6’0 feet.

The only issue was with assembly. No instructions & because of that, we wound up stripping a screw by accident and having to take it to an e-bike shop for repair because we took a wrong part off! UGH! Other than that, my son is extremely pleased with his new scooter! Highly recommend!

I live in an area where parking cost at work is outrageous. I bought this scooter so I could commute to work through the French Quarter in New Orleans. It has exceeded expectations! I am near the top of the weight range and I do not notice any decrease in performance. I got it up to 20 mph and then backed off because I was nervous! It it easy to operate and it feels stable and sturdy. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for one of these! And the price for the quality of the product can’t be beat!

I never ride a scooter in my life, so i thought i was gonna fall, yet as soon as i hop in, its like i had experience with it. Pros : weight for having dual motors and size. Price its just right for what u get.Brake light, side lights, head lights r bright. Deck holds u in place. Battery life last. Fast, im 182lb and im able to do 39mph. good acceleration and the fact that u can ride using one motor only and still has enough power. Easy to assembly out of the box. Hydraulic suspension gives u comfort and u r not bouncing up and down unlike a spring suspension. Nice tires even good on grass and dirt. Throttle is controlled with ur thumb, so u can have ur hand on handle and quick access for brakes. Large hud Cons : no key, u need a password but mine buttons r different than what i see online. Headlight style isnt my favorite. Handle grips could be better for comfort. (make sure u get gloves). no turn signals. buttons for gears and dual or single motor mode could be bigger and labeled better. No electric horn. Brakes could be better at higher speed. While u doing 30mph or higher. Wables a bit while braking at higher speed like 35mph or higher. (make sure u lean with ur weight going back). Kick stand is a bit short. Battery charging time between 10 and 11 hrs. Not the greatest looking e scooter out there. Conclusion this is great e scooter for those that want speed, commute long distance, some fun. also portability and not as heavy as others on its class

I've waited over 3 months to write this this review to make sure it's accurate.This scooter goes as fast and faster than advertised. That's a plus because most scooters and ebike don't.It is made with quality parts that work great, I've had no issues. I changed the tires for off road ones for the winter and I've put new brake pads in. The parts are easy to get online and easy to swap out. It's well engineered. It's powerful, quick and looks sharp. It's the fastest scooter in its weight class , that I've found anyway. I give It 5 stars.

So the scooter is made well. It does get up to 31mph depending on the type of road your driving on and your overall weight, mine (170-180lbs). The brakes work well too. My only problem with the scooter is that it doesn't get 34 miles on a full charge which was one of the factors in purchasing the scooter. I'm able to get at most 14.5 miles on a full charge and I'm mostly in 3rd gear and Dual Drive. I think its best that when these scooters are sold that the specifications should be accurate in terms of actual mileage instead of "depending on certain factors". The only way I could see you maybe getting to that 34 miles number is probably being in 1st gear only as it uses less juice. Anyway hope this review helps in making a decision to purchase.Update 12/6So this is the furthest I've gone in one trip. This was in 2nd Gear only and Dual Drive. Prob get another 2-3 miles out of it on top of what the display shows.

This scooter is amazing, you can pop wheelies on it, and it usually sits at around 28 miles an hour, but on some roads, it has go 31, suspension is great, brakes are amazing, upgrading to the S 10 because I had so much fun with the S5. The S5 has about 15 miles range, it’ll get you to where you’re going, but not much after, I would recommend for only $300 more getting the S 10.

Please wear a helmet for third gear!🙏🏼I ended up getting a second one after two failed tubes and all of a sudden the scooter wanted to start in third gear when it read first gear. 😂 That was dangerous.The manual yes is ridiculous. You tube is your friend.Also one of the two scooters was extremely hard to fold down and about knocked myself out.Customer service 🦗🦗🦗 Amazon had my back. 🙌🏼I do about 12 miles daily pretty consistently. I take my charger with me.Overall it really is a zippy, fun, stable ride! Have fun be safe!😍

I would suggest extra power bank like emergency extra range to get you at least 25 mile gear 2 adapter.Light: could be better probably a flood light led with a light strobe flash to alter drivers.Horn / bell : 3/10 need something louder ( alert drivers/ ppl with headphones) .Handle bars : would recommend folding it in half . I would recommend this for a lot of computers! Love this !! I would get another one for sure with the seat .

I race dirtbikes, so much fun can an Electric Scooter be?! Loads of fun! Pro tip, make sure you understand how to engage the front wheel drive. It's very simple, but you won't get the full experience until you do, but maybe practice for a while in just rear wheel drive, until you engage two wheel drive. I'm a big guy, 6'-2", 250lbs, this things rip, even with me on it!

Bottom line - I could not find a better scooter at this price point, and my daughter will be using this to commute daily 8 miles roundtrip to college. We have already put 100 miles on it.Negatives:Please be aware that unlike more expensive offroad scooters, there is NO shocks/springs or real suspension. The only thing it has is a solid rubber cylinder (where the orange arms attach) which does allow some limited flex to the front and rear when you impact something. I weigh 200 lbs, and it only sags very slightly when I stand on it. For my 110 lb daughter, it doesn't sag at all. The fundamental problem is there is NO adjustment, and even at 200 lbs, it is too stiff.The front steering mount is not rock solid and allows for significant flex front and back with the handlebar if you brake hard or pull back on it.The listing for this scooter is full of errors and inflated claims. The best I can achieve is 26 mph with the scooter on level ground. The brakes are cable, NOT hydraulic (you have to get the S10 to get hydraulic brakes).Positives:We previously had a Hiboy which only had rear suspension and smaller solid tires. The scooter is significantly better on rough pavement and bumps better due to its fairly large air filled tires and the little flex that you do get when you hit something. I will not go back to a smaller or solid tire design.The latching mechanism for folding is a strong design.The brakes are effectiveThe different levels of acceleration (1-3) allow a beginner to get used to it without fear.Overall, it is a much better scooter than the Hiboy S2, and a nice upgrade. To get better than the S5, you will have to jump to the $1000 price point. At $699 I would buy again.

So far I have had this for little over 2-3 weeks and I am in love with it. It takes some getting used to for sure but as you get the hang of it it starts to feel like nothing. At high speeds, this can be dangerous but that is to expected you have to be aware of your surroundings and everything near you. The brakes are amazing and so is the mileage and battery life. Overall, this was worth it so far and I will post an update in the near future.

Great battery I don't use it if it's 50% depleted, but I get my errands done. The track to unfold it tho is to brake the wheels add weight to the back and extend the handlebar untill it looks. I started off with a Segway nine bot. It just wasn’t fast enough and had no suspension. I literally drive the scooter almost every day it has dual motors and it will go close to 40 miles an hour without a problem I’ve had no issues with the scooter. I recently upgraded the tires and put new brakes on because of normal wear and tear. Well actually I’m pretty hard on this scooter lol but I have not had any problems except for the wear and tear on tires and brakes. I upgraded the tires with more of an all-terrain tire with thicker tubes as well and the brakes are really cheap. I’ve already put it over 600 miles on the scooter no problems with the battery the motors everything is solid. thinking about buying another one since they were down in price. That way my girlfriend can go with me on rides.

I like the build of the scooter overall great quality. EXCELLENT power. I cant find a hill I cant get up. Even the steepest ones I get up without to much of a drop in speed. I hit 30-35mph very easy most of the time I've hit 37 many occasions. I weight 200lbs to. I'd buy a 2nd one of these. I commute by train it took about a week for my muscles to get used to carrying it single hand up and down many flights of stairs at the stations I go to. Remember it weighs 59.5lbs I believe. The only things I don't like is the plastic rear splash guard was snagged on a train seat and snapped from where the screws go in and could not be rigged back on easily. So I go without a splash guard now. I use my foot if needed. Make sure you have the special slotted wrench if you get a flat tire. You need that to remove the tire due to the wire going in thru the axel. The scooter should have come with this wrench. I had to wait quite a while for it to come and i was scooter-less.

Solid scooter. Especially if you can get it for a decent price. Battery won't last long on the third gear but that's to be expected for a mid priced scooter like this. Can get about 35-40 miles on first gear which tops out at 11 mph, 2nd gear probably 20 miles which tops out at 18mph, and third gear 20 miles or less which can hit 25-27mph. So it has options for those that want to commute or if you just want to blaze through the backroads in your suburbs or town. Takes 6-7 hours to charge. Suspension feels good and the entire thing looks professional. Only minor complaint would be the lock/unlock mechanism to fold is insanely hard to unlock, I am what I consider a strong person and I am looking up videos on how to loosen it because it is insanely impossible. Tighten your screws and check your tire pressure weekly if you're using it regularly.

I have had my Joyor S5 Electric Scooter now for over a year and I am still so impressed with the quality and build. I bought my wife a smaller and cheaper scooter so we can ride together, but I find hers to be so flimsy and honestly a bit unsafe compared to the JOYOR. This scooter is solid! I love the huge wheels and shock absorption, it gives it a very stable ride and I think is what sets it apart from other scooters. Breaking is also very smooth compared to the cheaper scooter. I mostly ride it on the street and often forget its capable of off road. Riding on the grass is super fun too. Small pot hole? Pshh no problem!When I first opened it, it seemed large and kind of intimidating. Bigger than I expected and I wondered if it was more serious than I was prepared for. But after riding it, I realized it just felt effortless. Now there is no way I'm ever getting rid of this thing. ITS THE BEST.The controls for 3 variable speeds are easy to reach and to press while riding. Breaks are on both sides of the handles which for safety reasons I think is very important. The light is bright and very useful if riding at night.The speed, mileage, and battery life are all great. I didn't personally buy it for commuting but just causal use. 3rd gear gets you to the top speed but for me, gear 1 and 2 are great just to ride around the neighborhood.Only notes I have, is that I wish I could lock it or require a code/ bluetooth security or something to start so I feel a little more secure parking it or leaving it out in public.It is on the large side, and slightly hard to fold and unfold. But it fits in the back of my model 3 with the seat down even without folding it. Folding it might just take some getting use to, I rarely try. I find its weight and size to play a role in its stability. Not an issue for me.I had one issue after riding over some bumps that must have caused some wiring connecting the power source to come loose. At first I thought I was out of battery and would be walking home, but after making sure the wires were plugged in tightly I realized what happened/ a simple fix and probably a one time thing. Anyway I was back on the move and made it home quickly.Every friend I show this scooter to loves it, and we're all surprised its not over $1000 for how well it performs. Worth every penny.

I even convinced my group of friends to join in.Now the downside. There were no instructions with package, which would be nice when there is a loose screw floating around the box. And despite looking everywhere online only trial and error helped me learn how the scooter works. Some basic resources would easily make the whole experience better.Scooter: 5/5Resources: 2/5

I must say this is the 3rd scooter that I purchased and I had it for a couple of months now and I love every moment with it. It’s powerful it’s flexible it’s not too heavy so you can just easily fold it and put it in the back your trunk in my case I got a truck we took it out to the lake and rode it for over an hour. overall I love it. I actually bought another one for my daughter, so we can ride it together Definitely will recommend this scooter. This is one of the good ones I promise you that.

The Good: It seems well-made and high quality. The setup was easy. I live in a hilly area and it get's me up some pretty big hills with a speed of about 10mph. Top speed for me on a flat road with fully charged battery was 23mph. Range seem to be what one would expect, I'm take it up a lot of big hills so mine is understandably less than advertised. The lighting is very good, I appreciate the side lights and blinking brake lights. The shocks and pneumatic tires make for a very smooth ride. It has a nice and wide platform and the handlebars telescope out to a very comfortable height for a tall person (I'm 6'2). The design is also very pleasing to me. Quite industrial and rugged looking.Things that could be better: The manual is very poorly written and essentially worthless, I had to youtube owner review videos to understand and set up the scooter parameters on it's screen. The scooter was very slow at first until I learned that the European governor had not be turned off--Joyor tech support got back to me fairly quickly with a youtube video on how to do this but I was pretty disappointed at first with the speed. The battery takes the advertised time to charge all the way up. The screen I got is the new version compared to many I see in the youtube videos. Some functionalities on the screen are present that are not present on the scooter because this same screen is used for multiple models, this was confusing given that the operators manual is very poorly written.Several other reviewers commented on the folding mechanism being hard to operate, it wasn't an issue for me, but I'm also fairly strong. Overall I've been happy with the scooter itself, my biggest complaint is with the manual and screen being frustrating to learn.

I'm reviewing the S10S dual motor version. This is a very high performance scooter. With single motor mode the top speed is 37mph, in dual motor mode I've had it up to 44 mph. The wheels free spin up to 54 mph. I weight 150 lbs. Cornering is great , the suspension works well. It is not a perfect scooter. Waterproofing is nonexistent, I've added some clear silicone in places to help out . Folding/unfolding the scooter is decently easy. The handle bar rises high enough for me , I'm 6' tall. The rear fender did break off at the support arm on my first jump off of a curb. The support arm was plastic, Joyor sent me a metal replacement arm and it has been fine ever since. I was also missing a screw out of the gooseneck, I found a replacement but Joyor also sent me extra screws.

S5 Great scooter I’ve putting it through hell lol. I ride pretty aggressively and It’s been holding up so far no complaints on quality especially for the price. I like the black and orange colors also really sleek and pops, I get compliments on it everywhere I go. This scooter has great acceleration and torch which I like. It surprised me when I saw it in person it’s a lot bigger than I thought which is a plus when going over 30 miles an hour. Great for commuting to work! Portability is good fits pretty easily in trunk.Pros: good price, speed, quality, portable, easy and quick assembly, light weight, great grips, sturdy stem no flexing, cushy suspensionCons: Short battery life, but also depending on how you ride. Brakes need to be tightened starts squeaking but easy fix. Takes a while to charge. Needs more tread on tires, on sharp turns doesn’t grip. Longer and wider deck I’m 6’0 feet.

if you're looking for a daily commuter for work after taking the subway this is your best bet. It has an amazing suspension system that goes over almost all inclines and potholes with ease. The breaks stop on a dime so be aware of that. The lever that keeps it engaged in the upright position is a bit tight at first but with use gets easier to fold and unfold over time. the charge is good for about three days on second gear, less time if you're running it at top speed. With all that said it is a dependable scooter for my commute to work and it saves me a ton on parking. Definitely would recommend it for any intermediate to advanced electric scooter riders!

For the price, it’s really not that bad. However, I should definitely stress this point to all buyers…”Do NOT ride it in the rain!!” It is not water proof. However, it doesn’t take that much to water proof it if you know what you’re doing. There are a good amount of “how to” videos on YouTube to show you how to do a lot of stuff to this model…including unlocking the speed. Yea, got your attention didn’t I. I will burst your bubble a bit though..although you will be able to increase the scooter speed, it doesn’t necessarily means that you will be able to get to enjoy the top speed…well unless you’re a little person or a baby. The speed you can max out depends on your weight. The closer you get to the max weight capacity of the scooter, the slower you will go. It’s really not a bad scooter if you are willing to put in a little work to beef it up. As the scooter market is quickly gaining speed, there are a lot more selection of really nice scooters to chose from. Just do a little research and you’ll find what you’re looking for. A lil tip, don’t expect too much if you are going to be cheap about your investment. You will definitely get what you pay for in the scooter market. I would recommend this item if you are willing to put a little work into it. If not, I would suggest looking around a bit more. Good luck.

I just received this scooter 2 days ago. I'll update this review if anything changes. This is for the S-10 dual drive scooter.The scooter arrived on time (4 days) and the packaging was in perfect condition, no damage. It comes almost completely assembled. You only need to attach the handle bars with 3 screws and tighten a few others after you position the screen at the angle you want it. It comes with a folding Allen key/hex key tool that fits all of the screws on the bike. I went over every screw on the scooter and nothing was loose or needed addressing.The scooter is big! Its very well built and nothing about it makes me worry about my teenagers riding it or myself at 235lbs. I'm 6'5" and the handle bars adjust up to a comfortable height. If I had to point out anything that seems like it could have been built better, it would be the rear fender. It's plastic and held on by a few screws on one side. It would likely break if someone were to step on it or it was impacted by something. Otherwise, it's fine and serves its purpose.The battery was mostly charged and topped off in about an hour. My son rode it around the neighborhood for about 45 minutes, testing all the speeds and drive modes. He got comfortable and really ripped around. He covered 11 miles total without issue and the battery indicator dropped 1 notch (1 out of 5). This is not a definitive test of the battery/distance, but I was happy to see that even with spirited driving, the battery still seems to have most of its life left after 11 miles. We're not using this as a commuter. Its just a toy for our family, transportation around the lake, or a quick ride to the corner store and we'll likely never completely drain the battery. I believe there are other reviews that test the total distance/battery capacity.Acceleration is strong! Even with me riding at 235lbs. I didn't top out the machine, but it accelerated smoothly and quickly to 30mph. My son is 135lbs and, of course, it accelerated even faster with him riding and he passed 30mph quickly. I have no doubt this machine will go the advertised top speed of 37mph( or faster), but I likely won't ever need or want to go that fast. My only gripe with the drive is while cruising at a steady speed and giving it a very small amount of throttle to lightly accelerate, there is sometimes a little jerkiness to it as power engages. Its noticeable but not dangerous. It may just be normal and the nature of an electric drive scooter.The suspension is fantastic. The scooter takes inconsistencies in the road, rounded curbs, rocks, sticks, etc. with ease with both lighter riders (135lbs) and heavier riders (235lbs). We have a much cheaper scooter with the same 10" inner tube wheels and and a coil spring dual suspension and the S10 is 100x better and feels much safer when running over small obstacles.Likewise, the brakes perform great with heavier and lighter riders. Very smooth and responsive with the hydraulic system. Braking is very progressive and controllable. Also much better than the cheaper scooter we have which is at the $400 price point.My initial impressions are fantastic. It definitely earned 5 stars at this price point ($999). The rear fender could have been built better. It seems like a weak point. The safety latch on the locking mechanism to fold the machine also appears weak and many reviewers who fold their machines regularly report a failure. It is plastic as well. But both work fine so far for me. The question of whether or not its water resistant could be concerning for some. I drove through some water run off on the street and it was fine, but I don't intend to take it out in the rain or run it through large puddles either. I'm not disappointed with the few discrepancies though, because for a 60v, dual 1000watt drive scooter with hydraulic brakes and a fantastic torsion suspension, this price point is almost too good to be true.Note: Almost all of the bad reviews for this scooter on Amazon in this listing are for the S5 single drive version.

It can also maintain its speed at slight inclines, but of course slows down the higher you go.The only thing I disliked was how hard it was to read the assembly instructions, but they're not that complicated to piece together if you have bicycle experience. Great purchase overall.

This scooter is amazing. Has a super fast acceleration and an incredibly smooth ride. Holds a good battery charge. I use it mainly for zipping back and forth to my mother in laws house about a mile down the road. We have a very steep driveway, and as long as a I get a running start I can make it up no problem. I would highly recommend this scooter to anyone who is of average size and build. I'm 5'1" and it's great, my husband is 6'3" 250lbs and can use it comfortably, but said he would get something with a little more bulk if he buys himself one. I've had zero issues with mine and love it!

The full power this produces is more than enough. It handles trails and light mountain bike trails with eas. I often ride it hard and put it away wet. I put it in my back seat of my Corolla and go all over with it. I really like this thing. 700 miles so far

I'm reviewing the S10S dual motor version. This is a very high performance scooter. With single motor mode the top speed is 37mph, in dual motor mode I've had it up to 44 mph. The wheels free spin up to 54 mph. I weight 150 lbs. Cornering is great , the suspension works well. It is not a perfect scooter. Waterproofing is nonexistent, I've added some clear silicone in places to help out . Folding/unfolding the scooter is decently easy. The handle bar rises high enough for me , I'm 6' tall. The rear fender did break off at the support arm on my first jump off of a curb. The support arm was plastic,support sent me a metal replacement arm and it has been fine ever since. I was also missing a screw out of the gooseneck, I found a replacement but Joyor also sent me extra screws.

So the scooter is made well. It does get up to 31mph depending on the type of road your driving on and your overall weight, mine (170-180lbs). The brakes work well too. My only problem with the scooter is that it doesn't get 34 miles on a full charge which was one of the factors in purchasing the scooter. I'm able to get at most 14.5 miles on a full charge and I'm mostly in 3rd gear and Dual Drive. I think its best that when these scooters are sold that the specifications should be accurate in terms of actual mileage instead of "depending on certain factors". The only way I could see you maybe getting to that 34 miles number is probably being in 1st gear only as it uses less juice. Anyway hope this review helps in making a decision to purchase.Update 12/6So this is the furthest I've gone in one trip. This was in 2nd Gear only and Dual Drive. Prob get another 2-3 miles out of it on top of what the display shows.

I would suggest extra power bank like emergency extra range to get you at least 25 mile gear 2 adapter.Light: could be better probably a flood light led with a light strobe flash to alter drivers.Horn / bell : 3/10 need something louder ( alert drivers/ ppl with headphones) .Handle bars : would recommend folding it in half . I would recommend this for a lot of computers! Love this !! I would get another one for sure with the seat .

I bought this scooter because it has the latest iteration for a front shock, and I must say it glides over nearly everything. Your arms won’t go numb from riding on bumpy sidewalks. Folds up nicely, but it’s a bit difficult setting it back up until you learn the trick. And this is a good thing, it’s not gonna fold up while you’re riding, that’s for sure. The 2nd pic is a close up of the solid mechanism and the creative yet simple safety where the arm hooks. Great fun, quick and nimble. I’m gonna get the dual motor next!!

To be honest, I didn't expect this scooter to be nearly as substantial as it is. I mean, it is a well-built machine. Never had I seen an electric scooter with gears, it has there if them, and neither did I expect it would be as powerful. It has a nice wide footboard, and the handle bars are easily adjusted. My only complaint is that the instructions were practically non existent. Fortunately, between my friend and myself we didn't have much trouble figuring it out. There really isn't much to do to it other than attaching the handle bars. At first, we went angle to get it to lick in the upright position. Finally, I got on my knees and had the front tire between my legs, and then pulled the starting section toward me. This scooter isn't quite as portable as I expected. I can lift it ok, about 50 pounds, but I'm not going to be carrying it with me everywhere I go. I'm retired, but I took a part-time job on the weekends, and I had planned on taking it with me on the train when I go to work, but it's a little too heavy to be carrying it on and off the train like that. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This is an awesome scooter. I have had it for about 5 months now and wanted to make sure I had enough time to use it before leaving an honest review.This thing is super fast. Also, it has settings you can change to limit the speed. When my older child rides it, he goes full speed and then when my younger child wants to ride I change the settings to make it slower for safety.The quality is very high as well. My kids ride it very roughly and we haven't had any problems with anything breaking.I like it also, because before I bought it, the kids wanted to stay inside all day and watch television and play video games. Since I bought this scooter, they ride around the neighborhood and visit friends and end up playing outside for hours at a time. This is the only gift I've ever got them that actually gets them out of the house consistently. Most gifts I buy them, they play with for one or two days and then forget about it. But this scooter they use every single day.And the battery lasts a long time. They can ride a long time before needing a charge. Most of the time it lasts the entire day and then we charge it over night.I love this thing. I researched other brands, and this was the best one I found for the price and for how good it is. I was nervous at first because I didn't know anything about electric scooters, but I am 100% pleased with this purchase.My kids have had this for over 5 months and have ridden it for several hours per day, every day, and have had no problems at all. I even spend a lot of time using it myself and it's great.

While browsing for a scooter to commute to work I made sure to look for one thing main thing "Speed."The rental scooters are capped at a certain limit here in SF so I wanted a scooter that goes much faster than them and this one certainly does.You'd think that your biggest worry on the road are the cars but its actually pedestrians as they walk when and where they want. Speed bumps are a big obstacle too, problem is you can't just break safely when going fast (25mph +) like when you're on a bicycle, even though the breaks are very good on this scooter.I get about 20 MPH on Gear two and it goes to 25MPH on Gear 3 then slowly climbs from there (I weigh 180 lbs). When going faster than 25MPH and your eyes will start to water and you realize falling at this speed would not be fun. You get more used to handling faster speeds the more you ride.You will easily smoke bicycle riders and rental scooter goers as they are now officially beneath you.This scooter is more of a mid level scooter, it's not as good as the more expensive ones going for $1500 and up but It's perfect for commuting and its top speed is really not an issue as you won't be going that fast all the time unless the road is smooth.I ride about 3 miles to work so the Battery length has not been tested, I can probably go there and back 3 days without charging.This scooter is out of China so I was worried the quality would not be as good as the other American brands, however it's a solid scooter and a much better bang for your buck. When you ride it will feel a little like you get a piece of your childhood back. Highly Recommended.Lifting up the scooter handle the first time was a real pain, they should make that more user friendly, but once open it's good to go, Instructions are fine too. Someone on here said they weren't so that's not true.In Conclusion Great purchase, much better than those other scooters on here that only go 20mph top speed.

I have crashed many times and very minimal damage has resulted. I love how far a full battery goes on this scooter it is reliable. Overall a good product.

The Good: It seems well-made and high quality. The setup was easy. I live in a hilly area and it get's me up some pretty big hills with a speed of about 10mph. Top speed for me on a flat road with fully charged battery was 23mph. Range seem to be what one would expect, I'm take it up a lot of big hills so mine is understandably less than advertised. The lighting is very good, I appreciate the side lights and blinking brake lights. The shocks and pneumatic tires make for a very smooth ride. It has a nice and wide platform and the handlebars telescope out to a very comfortable height for a tall person (I'm 6'2). The design is also very pleasing to me. Quite industrial and rugged looking.Things that could be better: The manual is very poorly written and essentially worthless, I had to youtube owner review videos to understand and set up the scooter parameters on it's screen. The scooter was very slow at first until I learned that the European governor had not be turned off-- tech support got back to me fairly quickly with a youtube video on how to do this but I was pretty disappointed at first with the speed. The battery takes the advertised time to charge all the way up. The screen I got is the new version compared to many I see in the youtube videos. Some functionalities on the screen are present that are not present on the scooter because this same screen is used for multiple models, this was confusing given that the operators manual is very poorly written.Several other reviewers commented on the folding mechanism being hard to operate, it wasn't an issue for me, but I'm also fairly strong. Overall I've been happy with the scooter itself, my biggest complaint is with the manual and screen being frustrating to learn.

For the price, it’s really not that bad. However, I should definitely stress this point to all buyers…”Do NOT ride it in the rain!!” It is not water proof. However, it doesn’t take that much to water proof it if you know what you’re doing. There are a good amount of “how to” videos on YouTube to show you how to do a lot of stuff to this model…including unlocking the speed. Yea, got your attention didn’t I. I will burst your bubble a bit though..although you will be able to increase the scooter speed, it doesn’t necessarily means that you will be able to get to enjoy the top speed…well unless you’re a little person or a baby. The speed you can max out depends on your weight. The closer you get to the max weight capacity of the scooter, the slower you will go. It’s really not a bad scooter if you are willing to put in a little work to beef it up. As the scooter market is quickly gaining speed, there are a lot more selection of really nice scooters to chose from. Just do a little research and you’ll find what you’re looking for. A lil tip, don’t expect too much if you are going to be cheap about your investment. You will definitely get what you pay for in the scooter market. I would recommend this item if you are willing to put a little work into it. If not, I would suggest looking around a bit more. Good luck.

I even convinced my group of friends to join in.Now the downside. There were no instructions with package, which would be nice when there is a loose screw floating around the box. And despite looking everywhere online only trial and error helped me learn how the scooter works. Some basic resources would easily make the whole experience better.Scooter: 5/5Resources: 2/5

S5 Great scooter I’ve putting it through hell lol. I ride pretty aggressively and It’s been holding up so far no complaints on quality especially for the price. I like the black and orange colors also really sleek and pops, I get compliments on it everywhere I go. This scooter has great acceleration and torch which I like. It surprised me when I saw it in person it’s a lot bigger than I thought which is a plus when going over 30 miles an hour. Great for commuting to work! Portability is good fits pretty easily in trunk.Pros: good price, speed, quality, portable, easy and quick assembly, light weight, great grips, sturdy stem no flexing, cushy suspensionCons: Short battery life, but also depending on how you ride. Brakes need to be tightened starts squeaking but easy fix. Takes a while to charge. Needs more tread on tires, on sharp turns doesn’t grip. Longer and wider deck I’m 6’0 feet.

The only issue was with assembly. No instructions & because of that, we wound up stripping a screw by accident and having to take it to an e-bike shop for repair because we took a wrong part off! UGH! Other than that, my son is extremely pleased with his new scooter! Highly recommend!
